It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of Joe Ayoub, on Friday, August 8th, 2025, at the age of 60.
Joe had a gift for working with his hands and a true passion for woodworking and home renovations, often lending his skills to help family and friends with their own projects. He approached life fearlessly, meeting challenges with confidence and determination. He loved a good time, and if there was a party, you could count on him to be right in the middle of it—laughing, telling stories, and making sure everyone was having fun.
Above all, Joe cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. Whether casting a line while fishing, enjoying a round of golf, or sharing a laugh over coffee and snacks, time with Joe was never ordinary—his humour, charm, and one-of-a-kind personality made every moment memorable.
He was a proud husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle—loving, quick to tease, and always ready with a joke or a helping hand. Joe left an impression everywhere he went, not just through his work, but through the way he made people feel truly seen and valued.
Joe is predeceased by his parents, Karam and Renee Ayoub. He will be deeply missed by his wife Kathleen; daughters Salina (Dean) and Sara (Marco); grandchildren Roban, Zaidan, and Rylan; and his siblings Laudy, Antoinette, Tony, Madeleine, and Fred, along with many nieces and nephews. His absence will be felt by countless friends, neighbours, and extended family who were lucky enough to know him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Joe’s life on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2540 Stagecoach Road, Osgoode, ON, K0A 2W0. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Food and beverages will be served afterwards as we gather to share memories and stories.
Joe’s spirit will live on in the laughter he inspired, the friendships he built, his one-of-a-kind personality, and the stories told about his wild younger days.
Rest in Peace Joe.
