Jocelyne Marie Lavergne

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Jocelyne Marie Lavergne on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the age of 61. Jocelyne passed away peacefully at The Ottawa Hospital – General Campus, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Jocelyne lived in London, Ontario, for ten years before making her way back to her hometown. Known for her lighthearted spirit, she was always quick with a joke and genuinely cherished the simple pleasure of gathering around a table to play cards. Her vibrant energy and contagious laugh brought warmth to every room and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Claire and Gerald Lavergne.

Jocelyne is remembered by her daughter, Melissa (Christopher), and her beloved grandchildren, Paige and Connor. She is also survived by her siblings, Jeanette (Steve), Arthur (Sylvie), and Richard (Samantha), as well as her six nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Jocelyne’s wishes, a private family service will take place to honor her memory.
