Joan passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on May 16, 2026. Beloved wife to the late Jack Cain, loving mother to Tracy and Christian, John and Sarah. Proud grandma to Emilie, Austin, Adam, Sydney and Benji. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

Joan was kind and warm to everyone she met, loved to joke and tease and was always playful. For anyone who knew her, she had a great love and passion for dogs of every kind. Her golden retriever Molly was her best friend; she brought her so much love and joy to her life.

Mom, as difficult as it is to let you go, I know you are finally free. You will remain close in all our hearts; your memory will live on forever and always.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
