Jerry lived a full and adventuress life and had the stories to tell. He left home at 16 yrs of age, to sail the Great Lakes for 6 seasons, then retrained as a Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanic, which he worked at for 35 years followed by a long and happy retirement. He loved camping, travelling, baking, and spending time with loved ones and friends and helping “MacGyver” anything. With always a positive helpful disposition, Jerry was an inspiration and left an impression on all he interacted with.
With heartfelt gratitude, the family thanks Dr. Ney, Dr. Sanders and the RVH Oncology/Transfusion Team, Bayshore Home Health, Hospice Simcoe, and Dr. Michelle Van Walraven who all walked with and supported him over the past 6 years. In remembrance, please consider making a donation in Jerry's name, to Hospice Simcoe, Barrie.
