Jennifer Duggan

Jennifer (aka Jen, Jenny Penny, Jellico Cat, JenJen & Wennifer…) Duggan died unexpectedly on July 9th, 2026, at the age of 54, from a pulmonary embolus. She is predeceased by her treasured pets, Mr. Bates, Snoopy, and Tomas; her Dad, Patrick; and her Mom, Diane. Jen leaves behind her siblings, Sean, Laura, and Ann; her niece, Brynn; her Stepmom, Jeanette; her beloved dog, Ned; and so many friends/chosen family.

 Born in Mississauga, Jennifer went on to live in St. John’s, Los Angeles, El Paso, Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa. She had many passions ranging all the way from midwifery to zombies, from awesome eyeglasses to advocacy for marginalized communities, from animals to Coca-Cola and Maltesers, and from emojis to true crime. Jen loved her 1980s Winnebago and took it on an adventurous cross-country-trek to be with her dear Aunt Nancy. She was an unapologetic, flamboyant extrovert who filled every room with her laughter and vivacious spirit and had the uncanny ability to become best friends with strangers in minutes.

Jen was very loved and will be very missed.
