Jan Picard

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear friend Jan Louise Picard on Friday February 21st, 2025 due to complications from diabetes. 

Jan was known for her bubbly personality and infectious laugh. She had an incredible love for 80’s music, Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan movies, and there wasn’t a Neil Diamond song she couldn’t sing along to. However, her greatest love was her beloved Winnie. The most photographed kitty of all time.

She will be greatly missed by many friends - childhood, high school, Camp Ki-Wa-Y, Sunnyside and Trinity Village to name a few.

To honor Winnie and her mother, donations to the K-W Humane society or the Alzheimer's Society of Waterloo Wellington can be made.

Cremation has taken place and in lieu of a service it was Jan’s wishes for when friends gather, raise a glass, remember and reminisce of all the wonderful times together.
