James Gordon Teeple

It is with profound sadness that we announce Gord has left us peacefully at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with cancer & heart disease. He is predeceased by his parents Gerald & Alice Teeple, he leaves behind his five siblings Lynn (Glenn Mewdell), Mike (Lorrainne Teeple), Patricia (John Brideau), Jo-Anne (Norm Parthenais) & Elaine. Along with his loving partner Helen Burke, his best friend Mark (Sandra Peters) & all the many, many friends that he so cherished. 

Gord was a gentle soul, a flirtatious spirit, soft spoken & charming right to the end. He loved life & lived every day on his own terms. He was a die hard eagles fan, car enthusiast, loved woodworking, nature & gardening. He also held a special place in his heart for Labradors. Gord was the happiest being outdoors. Mornings on the water at the cottage just as the sun was rising, gave him such joy & peace. He will be missed immensely by all who knew him. 

The family would like to thank his health teams both at the Ottawa Heart Institute & the Ottawa General Hospital for the outstanding care and compassion.
