Jim passed away in Mississauga, Ontario. He was the son of Velma Winona Forsyth and Arthur Verrall Lewis (Ted) of Winnipeg and Etobicoke. He is survived by his brother John Edward Lewis of Peterborough and Mississauga and his wife, Penny and his niece Jody Strom (Calgary) and nephew Jamie Lewis (Etobicoke).
He graduated from Etobicoke Collegiate and Wilfrid Laurier University and worked in Western Canada during his sales career.
