It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jackson Reilly, on January 19, 2026 at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie, Ontario.

Born May 14,1945 in Belfast area, Northern Ireland. immigrating to Canada with his parents about 1954. Jackson was a proud member of the Orange Lodge and marching band, short time with Masons. He worked with Loomis couriers, and then the commissioners. 

He was an avid storyteller, His love of military and his historical war collections sparked many amazing conversations and stories. Jackson was also a talented writer and enjoyed both writing and reciting poetry and some of his favourite literary works.

Jackson (Jack) was Predeceased by his Beloved wife Laurie May ‘Sharon’ (nee Webb). He leaves to grieve his beloved brother in law of James Webb and very special friend, Sherry, Many extended family, nieces and nephews. Special thank you to his PSW Tanya who spend countless hours chatting and attending, doctor visits and shopping. 

Funeral Service will be held 12:00-1:00PM Saturday, January 24th, 2026 
at Jennett Funeral Home 152 Bradford Street, Barrie, Ontario. 
Interment to follow at Innisvale Cemetery, 7551. 5th Side Rd, Innisfil, Ontario
