"Bob", as he always liked to be called, was a proud father, husband, and devout Catholic. He worked in Human Resources for the majority of his career and held several executive-level positions.
The eldest of 4 children, he was born in Drummondville, Quebec on June 2, 1942 to Annie Epps and Robert Lalancette. His brothers Peter and Michael passed away in 2022; his sister Linda, the baby of the family, currently resides in Drummondville.
In 2021, Bob fought and defeated throat cancer. However, in May of this year, he was told the cancer had returned and metastasized. He fought valiantly until his last breath - showing us his strength, sense of humour, and his will to do things his way.
Bob is survived by his wife Monique, son Brian, and daughter Michele, their spouses and 5 grandchildren- Sophie, Zachary, Evie, Jack and Felix.
We would like to invite those who knew Bob to celebrate and remember him on Friday October 9th 2026 in Rockland, Ontario at the Rockland Manor. We will share stories and memories around 4pm and will have light refreshments and a dinner afterwards at a local restaurant.
As Bob was an avid golfer, we thought it fitting for those who would like to participate to optionally wear typical golf attire to this celebration of life.
