Ihor Michael Steckowych

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Ihor at the age of 72. He suffered for a year and a half with cancer.
He was a wonderful man who was known for his kindness and sense of humour. He worked more than 30 years as a forklift driver for Canada Post. In his retirement years he was a school crossing guard and was always honking his clown horn to protect the children. His favourite thing was all the pets he had in his life, currently Leo and Zeena, his 2 black cats that were constantly there to console him during his illness. Ihor touched everyone he met. Survived by his wife of fifty years Dianne (Ray), and son Nick (Ray Steckowych) and also his family and friends. We will all miss him very much. Ihor will be in our hearts always and forever.
