Ian Douglas McNeil

Ian Douglas McNeil, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on April 26th, 2022 at Scarborough Health Network – Centenary Hospital.

He is reunited with his beloved wife of 52 years Jane (Jean) McNeil, nee Thomson. Treasured father of daughter Janine; adored grandfather to Adam and Adriana. He also joins his parents Douglas and Nan McNeil. He leaves behind beloved brother Robert, sister-in-law Janette, and baby sister Elizabeth. Dearly loved close friend of Peter and Cathy Kennedy, admired uncle of William McFarlane, (Linda & William Jr.), Joe Kennedy (Diane), Peter Kennedy (Susan, Colin & Stuart), Brian Kennedy (Michael)  & Kathryn Bisland (Matthew Simone & Scarlett). Dear friend to Kevin, Lorraine and Brendan Healy. Dearly loved and respected friend to countless others. A proud member of the Scarborough Rangers Football Club. He will be remembered for his love of music and singing and his limitless kindness. A private service for family will be held and a celebration of life will be announced in the coming months.
