Horst Karl Engel

Passed away suddenly in Barrie on Tuesday August 15th, 2023 in his 87th year.  He is now reunited with the love of his life Rosemarie.  Dear father of Susan Finnegan (Marty), Sandra Massey (Dave), and Ralph Engel (Rebecca).  Loving grandfather of Katharine, Kristen, Katarina, Seamus, Alex, Eve, Evan and great-grandfather of Hunter, Jaxson and the late Connor.  The family wishes to thank all those at Tollendale Village who were there for Horst over the years. Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held in the Gathering Place at Tollendale Village 274 Hurst Drive, Barrie, L4N 0Z3 on Saturday September 9th, 2023 at 11:00 am with reception to follow in the Village Square Dining room.  In lieu of flowers the family has suggested a donation to Tollendale's Spiritual Care or a Random Act of Kindness in Horst's honour.
