MAJOR, Gerald Joseph - It is with much sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerald Joseph Major, in his 91st year.

“Gerry", and/or “Gramps” is predeceased by his loving wife Margaret Major Hems. He is survived by his two sons; Donald Major and Gerry Jr. Major, his Step-Children Kay Bonang, Donna Hatinen (Leo), Mike Clarke and numerous grandchildren. A Special Thank You to Tracey and Lucas King for their help and friendship with Gerry in his time of need.

Gerry enjoyed his time fixing and constructing- He was a “Jack-of-all-Trades”. He spent much of his time at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22 socializing, playing cards and enjoyed darts. He had a love for baseball and was a dedicated Toronto Blue Jays fan.
His time served as a Veteran was in the Postal Service and he often shared stories of those days with friends and families.
Gerry worked for CN Rail for over 25 years as a technician and was responsible for helping in constructing the nostalgic CN Tower.

Services for Gerry are planned for the end of June, 2020 at the Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, Ont. More details to follow closer to date.
