It is with heavy hearts that we share with you the unexpected passing of Gerald (Gerry) Hagen on March 12, 2024.
Gerry was the son of the late Walter and Florence Hagen. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers Percy, Joseph, Earl, Arthur, Jimmy, and Wally, and sisters Kay, Hazel and Teresa. Gerry is survived by his brothers Bill (Late Thelma), Gordy (Late Linda), and George, and sister Elsie (Gary) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.
Following his retirement from the Bank of Nova Scotia, Gerry found his true passion as a Crossing Guard. Gerry's commitment to ensuring the safety of others left an lasting mark on our community and he truly enjoyed safely crossing over all the children and residents he faithfully served on Danforth Avenue over the past several years.
