Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Gerald Faubert on Tuesday May 14, 2024, at the age of 83.
He leaves behing his loving wife of 56 years Lorraine, proud father to Marc (Jackie) of Douglasville, Georgia, Luc (Carole) of Moncton, New Brunswick and Daniel (Ashley) of Ottawa, brothers Paul, Herve (Maureen), brother-in-law Gilles, sister-in-law Ginette (Roger Pilon) and proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Herve and Yvonne Faubert and sister Fleurette.
As per Gerry's wishes, there will not be any formal funeral arrangements. Interment will be done at a later date privately.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the 2nd floor staff at the Centre D'Acceuil Champlain, the palliative care staff and to Joanne Veilleux for your care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
