Peacefully on June 29 at the Rideau Ferry Country Home in Perth, Ontario. Survived by children Jesse and Jody, and grandchildren Kaelob and Ruth. Gerry was cherished by lifelong friends Homer, Jeanne, Jo-Anne and Peter, and he was like an uncle to Kevin and Derek. His kids fondly recall camping and cottaging with their dad. Born in Montreal, Gerry is remembered for his love of photography, the Rocky Mountains, Leonard Cohen, a good horror movie and constant reading. He’s also remembered for his gentle nature, his “live and let live” motto, and his proud work as a printing and graphics technician in Ottawa and Calgary. Never one for ceremony or the spotlight, Gerry will be laid to rest privately by his closest circle.
