George Charles Newton passed away at The Alexander Muskoka Residence in Gravenhurst on Friday, March 27, at the age of 87, from congestive heart failure.

George is survived by his brother Ron Newton and his sons Randy Newton and Jeff Newton. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dianna Newton; daughter, Cindy Newton; and brother, Jack Newton.

George enjoyed spending time with friends in Florida and at his Muskoka cottage. He loved golf, fishing, and reading books about the Old West. His favourite song was “Wasn’t That a Party” by The Irish Rovers.
