George Jiujias, 96, passed away on January 13th, 2024, in Toronto, ON, Canada. Son of Theodore, and Eleni, he was born June 7th, 1927 in Nymfaio, Florinis, Greece. He served in the Greek army as a Lieutenant. He came to Canada on December of 1958, where he opened his own restaurant business. A hard worker, he put the needs of his family first and was always willing to help others.
George is Survived by his loving wife of 64 years Parthena Nula, his son Terry, daughter Jenny, and his grandchildren Patricia and Theodore.
While we lost our most beloved dad, many have lost a friend and loved one in him. He has been a rock to many. There was so much more to him than just a father, though to us that was his greatest roll - he was also a husband, grand father, friend, a cousin, brother, and a real drill sergeant, the list goes on and on.
It was his wish that we laugh and reminisce and smile together during this time.
