Gaston Veilleux

In Ottawa at St. Vincent Bruyère Care Centre, on April 13, 2026, Mr. Gaston Veilleux, residing in Embrun, Ontario, passed away at the age of 74.

He dedicated his life to his family and country with his career in the military as a Sergeant, devoted to health and sciences.

The family will receive his ashes in Ottawa and transfer them to his final resting place in Edmonton, Alberta.

Mr. Veilleux is survived by his daughter, Michelle Veilleux and her brother Richard Ellis, daughter Mya Ellis, Grandson Nicholas Veilleux, and great grandson Westyn Veilleux. Sisters Maryse (Nelson Dionne) and Jocelyne (Richard Hallé).

The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff of the St. Vincent Bruyère Continuing Care Centre in Ottawa and Dr. Gena Robinson Shahar with her amazing team of Practitioners for the excellent care provided.
