Galina Kozlova (1937–2026)

Galina Kozlova passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at Villa Colombo in North York, at the age of 88.

She was born in Sverdlovsk, Russia, and worked as an engineer for most of her life.Galina had a deep appreciation for beauty, culture, and style.She loved Elvis Presley, Sophia Loren, and French films, especially those of Jean Marais.  She was known for her exceptional cooking and baking, her sewing, and her sharp eye for fashion.  In her youth she was often remembered for her stylish outfits, and love of standing out.

She enjoyed all good food, but especially dark chocolate with a cup of strong black tea.  She also was one of the family’s greatest storytellers with a love of dramatic flair and a sharp sense of humor.

There will be no public funeral. She will be deeply missed forever loved and never forgotten

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to SickKids.
