Evelyn Marion (Smith) Roberts

On January 1, 2021, Evelyn Marion Roberts (nee Smith), left her body and entered the forever place where the promise of “no more tears” is now her reality. Twelve years ago Evelyn lost her husband of 54 years, Doug Roberts. In the last few years she also lost her memories to Alzheimer’s disease. Her children, Elizabeth Honeyford (Jim), Bruce Roberts (Margot), Denise Craine Burtcher (Jim), along with her grandchildren Laurel, Noel (Mari), Tyler (Kristen), Matthew, Kyle, Taylor, Cooper, James and Max, great grandchildren Del and Wes hold the memories for her, and always will. Evelyn loved to laugh. Loved a good joke. Loved her lifelong friendships. Loved Jesus. Although, she experienced many adversities, she continued to rise each day and smile. We are grateful to Streetsville Care Community for these past 3 years who gave her someone to sing to!
