Emil Tcherecharski

Emil Tcherecharski passed away on June 7, 2025 in Mississauga at the Yonge age of 53 years. Emil was born on August 02, 1971, in Bulgaria.

Emil is deeply missed by his wife Evelina, Sons Emilio and Erik, his grandsons Angelo and Adriano, his mother Radka (father George, predeceased) and brother Daniel. Emil is loved and will be missed by his many extended family and friends in Canada and in Bulgaria.

He had a great big heart and was always happy to help when in need. Emil will forever be remembered as a kind soul. Emil was a long-distance runner and national champion for 1988, 1989, 1990. Emil was very proud of this as he still holds the national record on 2000 m steeplechase. Emil was 17 on the world champion and 3rd in Europe under 21.

Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium, Sandalwood Chapel. Prayers at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in the main parking lot off Dundas. Please walk towards the main building in the cemetery grounds.
