Elizabeth (Elspeth) Anne Gelineau (nee Pentland)

It is with a broken heart that I inform you that mom has passed away at 95 years of age with her granddaughter Jessie and myself, Lise, by her side holding her hands. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Gelineau to whom she was married for 64 of the most loving years two people could have.

Devoted mother to Ann, Jim (deceased), Lise (Ken), and Mark. Grandmother to Noah, Joy (Will), Emma, Jessie and William. Great grandmother to Bailey. She is also survived by her brother George (Carol).

Thank you to Redwoods Retirement Residence for helping mom move from Montreal to Ottawa in the middle of COVID on her 90th birthday. She was welcomed with love and an abundance of compassion during a very difficult time.

I'd also like to thank Ottawa Grace Manor for looking after mom for the last several months. Your unending kindness, compassion, patience and love meant so much to her and helped her pass peacefully in her final days.

A private family gathering is being held in Montreal where mom will be reunited with dad at the Field of Honour in Pointe Claire. Mom and dad will finally be back in each other's arms.
