Elaine Szentmiklossy

Elaine Szentmiklossy, born on October 31, 1947, in Calgary (Bowness), Alberta, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, at Kensington Gardens Long Term Care in Toronto, Ontario.

Elaine was the cherished daughter of the late Leslie Szentmiklossy and Elizabeth (Mickey) Sand (née Hooton). She is survived by her beloved sisters, Shiela Szentmiklossy and Lois Macleay (Szentmiklossy), as well as her brother, Ross Szentmiklossy (Lil) and many nieces and nephews. 

Elaine loved reading and research. She had compassion for all animals, especially her love for cats. Her daily walks in the Toronto St. George Street community brought her joy as she was the friendly familiar face to her neighbors. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Thank you to the staff of Kensington Gardens LTC where she resided.
