Edward "Ted" Pitcher

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Ted who passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, after an 11-month battle with stage 4 cancer. Always one to persevere, Ted fought hard with determination and courage to live to his 50th birthday on October 16, 2024. 

The son of David and Margaret Pitcher (nee Whittle), Ted was a brother to four sisters – Kathryn, Nancy, Leslie and Ashley – who will remember him for his caring and protective nature, as well as his calm and easygoing approach to life. He was a loving father to Emily and Kyle and a proud uncle to Anastasia, Mackenzie, Ariana, and Amelia.

Ted grew up in St. John’s, Newfoundland and we will fulfill his wish to have his ashes scattered there.

We have many fond memories that we will cherish forever. He is now at peace with God and finally free from pain and suffering.

Goodbye, son and brother. We will watch out for your Angel number “555”. Until we meet again. Rest in peace, Teddy.
