It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Francis McManus "Pook" Loving and devoted husband to Muriel Beatrice McManus nee Crane. Edward passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 25th, 2026 at the age of 91. Born on February 4th, 1935 in St. John's Newfoundland. 

Committed father to Sharon Bartholomew (Jonnie), grandfather to Ryan and Ian Bartholomew, great grandfather to Madison. Devoted father to Terry McManus (Rose), grandfather to Tera McManus (Rob) and Christy McManus, great grandfather to Leland, Step grandfather to Chase (Taylyn) and Jayden Palmer Roussy and step great grandfather to Paisley. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him including all of his nieces and nephews. 

Edward was predeceased by his sisters Mary (Alex), Agnes (Mike), Therese (Mike), Anne (Leo), his brothers Joe (Fan), Jack (Jean), Lar (Mary), Billy and Clem.   

Edward came from St. John's Newfoundland in the mid 1960's with his family as he was dedicated to providing a better life for them. Edward loved his family unconditionally. He always did whatever it took for the betterment of his family without complaint. 

Edwards kindness touched each and every person that was lucky enough to have met or known him.
