Anyone who knew Edmond would describe him as a very caring and generous person who took care of everyone as his own family. His sons called him “Babba” and his nephews and nieces called him “Dayi” or “Ammo”. He always dressed to impress even if it was just a quick trip to the mall. After a long day, he would relax on the couch with a
misbaha in his right hand. He followed the news very closely using his AM/FM radio, he loved listening to Armenian folk music and Arabic classical music such as
Umm Kulthum.
The Zalal family would like to thank Sarsfield Colonial Home, especially the Director of Care, the Nurses, the Personal Support Workers and the administration staff. Also thank you to the Montfort Hospital doctors and staff.
The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday 14 March 2024 11:00 a.m. at Hope Cemetery’s Chapel located at 4660 Bank St, Ottawa, Ontario followed by the interment and reception at the same location.
Charitable donations can be made, in lieu of sending flowers, to the Armenian Relief Society “Sevan Chapter” of Ottawa.
