Dwight Garnet Robinson

It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved spouse of 21 years. Dwight Garnet Robinson, who departed this life on Monday August 25th, 2025, at the age of 69 following his courageous battle with brain cancer.

Dwight was born in Pembroke, Ontario on August 13th, 1956. He was a devoted & loving spouse to Bernadette ( B ), a loving father & stepfather & a loving papa and a cherished friend to many. Known for his terrible taste in hockey teams (Dwight was a true Leafs fan!), his fashionable suspenders and most importantly, his kindness and incredible work ethic. For over 20 years, Dwight worked at Scheel Windows and Doors manufacturing plant in Arnprior where he became known as more than just a coworker, he was a cornerstone of the company.

He is survived & very much loved and deeply missed by his spouse, Bernadette (B).

Father of Amanda (Dave), Trina (Jason), Tim & Wayne. Loving & respected stepfather (known as 'Papa') to Steven (Amanda), Sean and Ryan.

Dwight had 17 grandchildren: Mackenzie, Nora, Jade, Cheyenne, Kalib, Tyson, Tayvon, Odin, Jackson, Gavin, Nevaeh, Jaelyn, Lyla, Bryce, Harper, Trey and Janie. As well as 5 step-grandchildren, Brayden, Paige, Ethan, Daphne and Emberlee

Dwight is also survived by many nieces & nephews

Siblings: Terry (Beth) and Dona.

Cherished Pets: Raddler and Katie

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude Matthieu ( Howard ), Private Garnet Robinson and stepfather, Lloyd Howard. His brother, Keith and son, Braden.

As per Dwight's wishes, there will be no service or celebration of life.

If so desired please consider a donation to Valley Animal Rescue in Dwight's honor. This rescue was near & dear to his heart

I would also like to give a special thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses, PSW's and Volunteers at the Shawville Hospital and Palliative care unit for their dedication, love and support throughout his 5 week stay.

Dwight's strength, love and laughter will be missed beyond words, and we will forever carry his memory in our hearts.

I will love you & miss you forever, always in my heart
