Dwight Stephen Foster

FOSTER, Dwight Stephen. Peacefully at home, Dwight passed on to his eternal home on January 2, 2025, after a lengthy battle with cancer, at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Beachy) for 31 years, and devoted father of Delores (Johan), Brian, Allison, Greg (Maddy) and Ron. Grandpa of his dear grandchildren Ginny Mae and Evan Dwight. Son of the late Melville and Rita Foster. Brother to Greg (Shirley), Linda (Peter) and Deb (Murray), Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Dwight had a love for the Lord from a young age and lived faithfully to be pleasing to his Heavenly Father his whole life. He faithfully attended and supported Brunstad Christian Church Ottawa.

He loved farming and made an impact in the local agriculture community, always looking for ways to improve things. He continually grew the farming business to include cash crops, a beef feedlot and a commercial grain elevator. All five children work on the farm and have stepped into their father’s shoes to continue the business into the future.

Although he will be greatly missed, his family and friends rejoice that he is free from pain and has finished his earthly race.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. with a Celebration of Life following on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. All services will be held at the shop at 2505 Lockhead Road, North Gower, ON K0A 2T0.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brunstad Christian Church Ottawa during the visitation or funeral.
