With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dragana Susic, who left us peacefully on May 14, 2025, at her home in Mississauga after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 77 years old and surrounded by her loved ones.

Beloved wife of the late Bozidar Susic and cherished daughter of late Milica Pavlovic and Rade Pavlovic, Dragana was the heart of her family. She leaves behind her devoted daughters Gabrijela Nikolic and Danijela Milinovic; her treasured grandchildren Tatjana, Ivan, Aleksandar, Nikola, and Nikolina; and her loving sons-in-law Slobodan Nikolic and Milenko Milinovic.

Dragana was born in Kragujevac, Serbia, and attended Kragujevac Gimnazija before dedicating her life fully to her family. As a proud homemaker and full-time grandmother, she found joy in gardening, reading, playfully teasing her family, keeping up with current events (especially President Vučić), and trying her luck with scratch cards. She had a love for Turkish dramas, the Orthodox calendar, her self made garden, and the book writer Vesna Dedić.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Integrated Palliative Care Program team at Dorothy Ley Hospice and all PSW, nurses and other supporting staff from the Spectrum Health Care program for their compassionate care and support.

A funeral service will be held Friday May 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON, L4Y2B5. 

A dinner reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to any Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

She will be remembered always for her strength, her love, and her laughter.
