Dr. John B. “Jack” Cowan, aged 85, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, surrounded by his children.

Born June 19, 1940, in Glasgow, Scotland, Dr. Cowan immigrated to Canada and established his medical practice in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, in 1973, where he served his community with dedication and professionalism for over 30 years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Judith Cowan. He is survived by his children, Garry, Laura, Aaron, Amy, and Andrew Cowan.

Dr. Cowan will be remembered for his commitment to his profession and his service to others.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Canada in his memory.
