It is with sadness that the family of Douglas Richard Shilton announce his passing on Saturday April 20th in his 72 year. Doug passed peacefully in his sleep after years of dealing with heart issues.
Son of the late Laura Mae Shilton and George Henry Shilton, Doug is survived by his two sons, Terry and Adam, his grandson Brody , his brother, Bruce and sister, Joanne and long time partner Gwen Chin.
Doug grew up in Thornhill, enjoyed golf and hockey and loved cars and ultimately worked in the automotive industry for many years as a service manager/advisor. He will be remembered for his work with the Lion's Club and for his passion for the game of golf.
