Douglas (Dougie) Richard Thomas Stoddard

It is with unbelievable grief and sadness we announce the sudden death of our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend Douglas (Dougie) Richard Thomas Stoddard on May 25, 2026 at the age of 43. Doug was a beautiful, cultured, smart, loving person who enjoyed music, gaming, writing, singing and thoroughly enjoyed playing with his adored niece and new nephew. He was excited for his new endeavour as an apprentice carpenter. He was a talented cook who enjoyed hosting his family for elaborate dinners. 

Doug was so very loved by his parents Janice and Dave, his sister Angie and her partner Nicole, his niece Dylan, his brother Rick, and his sister-in-law Julie, and new nephew, Caius, and his many friends. He enjoyed his time at his cottage at Lac Simon and camping. We will look for you at every campfire where the music sings, in the whisper of the winds, and the sound of the birds singing their spring tunes.
