Doris June Laffin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Doris June Laffin who passed peacefully at home attended by her daughter and our sister Bonita and her beloved “CAT”. Mom had a full life of 92 years but is free to join the love of her life, our father Floyd (predeceased 2007). Survived by her 3 children, Leonard Bruce Laffin (Judy), Bonita Lynn Shier (Ted), Janice Lillian Bowman (Bob), 8 grandchildren as well as 18 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Amber and her homecare staff as well as Becky at Hospice for all their kind attention looking after our Mother. Also, a big thank you to Dr. Mills and his staff. A celebration of Mom’s life will be held at Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford Street, Barrie on Saturday May 13, 2023 from 1:30pm-4:30pm. A donation to a favourite charity may be made in our mother’s name.
