Doris Janice Brown

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Doris Janice Brown, age 71. She died peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in the early hours of Jan 20th, 2024 from a battle with cancer.

She is predeceased by 3 of her children Adam, Dolly and Angela and her sister Lynn. Doris is survived by 5 brothers and 7 sisters. Alvin [Karen (2) & Chris (1)], George [Mary (2), Cindy (3) & Georgie (1)], Jean [Richard (1) & Jean (2)], Mae [Lisa (1) & Bobbie (2)], Beatrice [Dwayne (3)], Roslyn [Tammy (2), Tanya (2) & Diana], Sherry [Nadine (1) & Sara], Bill [Billie], Lynn [Steven (3) & Amanda], Roxanne [Chrystal (1)], Dale [Leanne (4) Chesley & Anthony], Darren [Angela (2) & Nathan (1)], & Mike [Joe, Mikey & Reid]. Her loss is also felt by Lisa (& Robin) her surviving daughter as well as her three granddaughters Victoria, Breanna and Ariel.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the RVH nurses who went the extra mile to tend to her and leave her with a kind word.

Friends and family are welcomed to join us on February 3rd, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm for a viewing at Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford St, Barrie, ON L4N 3B5 Canada.
