Doreen Christina Riding

RIDING, Doreen Christina (nee Coward) of Toronto, peacefully at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa, on Monday 21 May 2018 at the age of 88. Loving wife of William ‘Bill’ Albert Riding. Daughter of the late Walter Harvey Coward and Margaret Christine Coward (nee Stevens). Sister of the late Walter ‘Bud’ Coward and the late Margaret Coward (Ron Hayward). Loving and caring mother of Steven Wayne Riding (Lyne Tremblay) and the late Carol Lyne Weingarten (nee Riding). She will be sadly missed by her two granddaughters, Sophie and Melissa, and her cherished granddog Meeko. Doreen was a sweetheart and will be fondly remembered by her family, including many nieces, and her many friends and neighbours. The family would like to thank the Montfort Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care. Doreen enjoyed rug-hooking, swimming, dancing, following politics and world events, lunch at Swiss Chalet, playing solitaire, and doing the daily newspaper crossword puzzle.
