Don leaves with fond and loving memories his loving spouse Ghyslaine Cheney of 48 years and beloved son Terry Loveridge. His sister Shirley- spouse Elmer (Al) Gay ( deceased), his brother in law Jean Cheney and his spouse Lyne (Remillard) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He loved to travel back home to his simple Newfoundland roots; the smell of the salt air and feel the ocean breeze, take a wander over the back hills or just spending time with family and friends.

He was soft a spoken, gentle and fun-loving spouse who was always present, and a great friend. He had a deep passion for music (playing guitar), photography, politics, reading, black and white movies , family history (Newfoundland and Labrador),baseball (Blue Jays) and fishing.
