Peacefully at home in St. Thomas, ON, Thursday, December 27th, 2012, her beloved husband of 47 years, Gary, by her side, after a lengthy battle with cancer. A lifelong animal lover, Gwen shared her home with many furry and finned friends, great and small, over the years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made to Animal Aide of St. Thomas-Elgin, or your local Humane Society. Donations can be made online at www.canadahelps.org. At Gwen’s request, no service will be held. A memorial to celebrate her life will take place in late February, 2013.
