It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our son Derek. He will be in our hearts forever.

He was a very kind and compassionate person and would always try to help anytime whether being human or animal. His love for nature was very addictive as well as Peaceful. He also had a love for dirt biking with his son Keegan. I know in my heart that the Lord was ready to receive him with open arms.
He is survived by his parents Bill & Jackie, his brother Cory, his son Keegan whom he was so proud of, his friend & real love Pamela.
He had many cousins however a very special bond was formed with his cousin Tim, Allison and Lisa. An even stronger bond with Caleb. His Aunts Katherine (BOTUIK) PAULA (WHITE)SUE (McDowell) Pierrette (Hamilton)
His Godfather and Uncle Nelson McDowell.
Jake & Leddy (our 2 chihuahuas) miss him very much. His friend Ron.
Cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest with his grandparents and great grandparents (this will be a private burial) at Barrie Union Cemetery.

We will see each other again my Son.
