Debra (AKA Debbie) Lynne Stringer

On June 22nd 2025 at the age of 69, Debra Lynne Stringer passed away peacefully in her home in the comfort of her bed with her loving cat Timmy by her side.

Debra lived her life with her heart on her sleeve, also empathetic and compassionate towards everyone.

She passionately enjoyed her Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays, cheering them on and watching whether they were doing well or not.

She enjoyed her time outdoors as much as she physically could, whether just to drive around and get some sunshine or to sit and watch the birds/squirrels. She had a love for animals and nature and enjoyed watching the dogs at the dog parks too.

Although at times reserved and somewhat shy, she was a social butterfly and a Chatty Cathy once she warmed up to people.

She enjoyed the company of her friends and family, as well as people in general. She genuinely enjoyed all of the holidays, cooking/baking and quality time with family.

Her family is what kept her going & gave her purpose in life. She would do anything she could for them.

She also enjoyed her time to herself always rocking out to her favourite oldies music. She had a love for flowers and gardening and really enjoyed caring for her garden and watching it grow! She thrived to keep her moods positive and uplifting.

She really loved swimming, board games and activities with her grandkids and any social gathering with her family or friends she would try her best to be there.

Whether mother, grandma, nanny, sister, friend, companion; she will be dearly missed and remembered as a kind and gentle irreplaceable soul.

Debra is survived by her children Traci (Josh), and Scott, grandkids Deidrick, Darryius, Lillee & Skye, sister in law Joan, nieces Samantha, Sharon and Kelly, and her loving cat Timmy. She is predeceased by her parents, June and Robert (Bob), sister Valarie, brother Allan, husband Jerry, and children, Lisa and Robin.
