It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah at the age of 57 on December 26th, 2025 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa.

She was a loving mother to her daughter, Lila, who was the centre of her world.

She is also survived by her mother Andrea Hahn (Ryder) and predeceased by her father, Gordon Hahn, of Kapuskasing. Loving sister to Blythe Hahn (Rob) and Paula Smith (Rob). Amazing Aunt to Jeremy and Olivia.

Deborah will be remembered for her great sense of humour, her fantastic memory for song lyrics and movie lines, her love of gardening and her strength and courage over the years.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Thank you to the ICU doctors and nurses at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for the care provided to Deborah and our family.

In keeping with Deborah’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Expressions of sympathy may be made through donations to Lupus Canada or The Canadian Cancer Society.
