It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debrah Floyd at Hospice Simcoe on Saturday, December 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Loving wife of Bruce Monk, cherished mother of Chris (Marlise) Floyd, proud grandmother of Nathaniel and Ethan, dear sister of John Saxon, and beloved daughter of Leonard Saxon.
Debbie ran the Thornton Ice Cream Parlour for 30 plus years. Over that time, she has been a part of countless people's lives and touched many hearts. There have been so many stories shared over the years, and we welcome you to share any photos or stories you may have had with Debbie.
Deb, you will be missed.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Deb’s memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe.
