Dawson Demian Joseph Leslie Dixon

Dawson Demian Joseph Leslie passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, at the young age of 26. Although his passing was a devasting loss, he spent his final days enjoying camping, canoeing, and being surrounded by loved ones.

Born on November 27th, 1998, in Smiths Falls, Ontario, and raised in Kemptville, Dawson lived a life full of passion — for music, hockey, and the people he loved. His vibrant style, signature flowing hair, sense of humour, and the enthusiasm he brought to everything he cared about has left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Dawson was deeply connected to music, which continually brought him joy and served as a constant source of expression. His keen eye for fashion was evident to all who knew him; he saw clothing as way to express his unique personality and treated it as an art. He loved sports, food, TV, movies, lego and video games, often enjoying friendly competition and fun with his friends online.

Dawson will always be remembered for his kind heart, friendly smile, and caring nature, traits that everyone loved about him which helped cultivate the bond he had with his younger siblings, Wylie and Iona, he will forever be their big brother.

Survived By

Dawson is survived by his loving mother, Irena Morley, and long-time girlfriend, Regan Harris. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Wylie Dixon, his sister, Iona Morley, and his Uncle Demian Dixon, whom he shared a special relationship with.

He was the cherished grandson of Wade and Sheila Dixon, Gary Loughlin, Cameron and Penny Craig, and Jack and Joan Rombouts. He also leaves behind his cousins, Oakley, Oxford and Odessa Dixon, as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

He was predeceased by his beloved father, Josh Dixon.

Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life will be held in Dawson's honor at the North Grenville Municipal Centre on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, from Noon to 4:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and share fond memories of Dawson.
