After battling leukemia, David began his eternal life with his beloved wife, Francesca (née Adamo). He passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughter, Taria Rossi, & son-in-law, Marco. He’ll be lovingly remembered by his two grandchildren, Roman & Aliya; his sister, Susan (Weldon) Popp; his sister-in-law, Rosalia (Joe) Lungaro; many nieces, nephews, family & friends. A special thanks to those who made his last year fulfilling - new/renewed friendships, the “guys at McDonald’s”, Seniors’ Card Clubs, fellow volunteers at Joseph Brant Hospital, and the many lunch & dinner get togethers. Cremation has taken place & a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 6, 2024 at Lakemount Worship Centre, 54 North Service Rd in Grimsby. Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm, followed by a Service at 4:30 pm. Family & friends are then invited for fellowship & food. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, made in David's memory, are appreciated.
