David (Dave) James Gagnon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David (Dave) James Gagnon, who succumbed to cancer after a courageous battle on June 19, 2026 at the age of 64.

Dave was a man who loved the outdoors and felt most at home in nature. Whether he was hunting, casting a line, or simply enjoying fresh air, he found peace and happiness outside. A skilled mechanic by trade, he had a natural talent for working with his hands and understanding how things worked. He could often be found tinkering, or taking on a new project, always keeping busy and finding satisfaction in a job well done.

Dave leaves behind his daughters, Anisa (Mike), Caiti, and Debbi (Olivier), who will forever hold their memories of him close. He was a proud grandfather to McKayla, Ayva, Jetson, Remington, and Jack, each of whom brought him great joy.

He is also survived by his sister, Karen (Shain) and his brothers, Ernie (Kelly) and Robert (Karen), along with their families. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Wilmer and Elizabeth Gagnon.

Dave will be remembered for his social nature, his fondness of jump-scares and practical jokes, his love of hunting and fishing, and his knack for fixing just about anything. The memories he created with family and friends will live on in the stories shared, and the lessons learned.

The family would like to express their gratitude to those who provided care and support during Dave's illness.

A private family gathering will take place to celebrate Dave's life.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
