Darcy Coburn John Beier has passed at the age of 60 in Barrie, Ontario, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, due to liver cancer.

Darcy leaves behind his wife, Cathy Beier (Van Every); son, Jesse; daughter, Katelyn; mother-in-law, Norma Williamson; sister, Della Berg (Beier), and her husband, Ken Berg, along with their children, his nephews and nieces; brother-in-law, Dan Van Every, and wife, Sharon Bradley, and their children; brother-in-law, Dwayne Van Every, and son.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026. There will be a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a service starting at 11:00 a.m. at Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices Jennett Memorial Centre at 152 Bradford Street, Barrie, ON. A reception will be held immediately after the services.
