Cynthia Vroom

She was born as Zwantje Cynthia Vrolyk in Sarnia, Ontario, the oldest daughter of the late John and Henny Vrolyk. She grew up on the family farm and met the love of her life in youth group and married the late Henk Vroom on October 11, 1957. After a few years living in Sarnia they moved to Toronto. They were married for 59 years and were blessed with 6 children: Andrew (Joanne), John (Marianne), Heather, Clarissa (Arthur) Stevens, Cindy (Mike McCartney) and Henry (Yolande). Through her children she was blessed to have 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Cynthia was predeceased by her brother John and sister in law Lorna, and brother in law Joe Norwich and survived by brothers Art (Elizabeth), Bart and sister Nell and sister in law Tena. She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews from both the Vroom and Vrolyk families.

Funeral on Wednesday May 21st, 1pm at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, Barrie, Ontario.
