Christina Luise Brisson (née Pohl)

Chris went home peacefully to be with Christ on November 6th, 2025. Beloved wife to Jacques, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years, proud mother to her sons Jeff and Nicholas, along with their beautiful wives Erin and Sophie, and treasured grandmother to her granddaughters Madison and Tenley.

She leaves behind her sister Evelyn (Rolly), her brother Rudy (Marny), as well as her mother-in-law Simone Brisson, brothers-in-law, Denis (Hélène), Pierre (Natalie), and her many nieces, nephews and their wonderful children. Chris is predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Marga, her sisters-in-law, Manon, Gisèle (Denis), as well as her granddaughter, Sarah.

Chris was a true creative spirit, forever exploring new ways to express her boundless imagination. From floral arranging to purposeful handmade journals, creating mosaic glass art to hand-crafting her delicious, one-of-a-kind Calabogie Kickers (spicy maple candied pecans), she poured love and joy into everything she created. Her artistry reflected her generous heart and the beauty she saw in the world around her.

She deeply believed that everyone belongs and that the love of Christ has no end. Her faith, creativity, and compassion touched all who knew her and will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Stonefields Estate (1985 Beckwith 9th Line, Carleton Place, ON K7C 3P2) on Sunday, November 23rd at 2pm.
