It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother.
She was born in Lebanon to a survivor of the Armenian Genocide. After losing her own mother at the tender age of two, she was lovingly raised by her devoted maternal grandmother. From an early age, she learned resilience, gratitude, and strength—qualities that would come to define her life.
She went on to raise three children, Sarkis, Tamar, and Taline, with unwavering devotion and selfless love. A nurturing and dedicated mother, she expressed her care through acts of service—especially through cooking and baking—always ensuring her family was well fed, comforted, and cared for.
For over ten years, she worked as a homemaker with the Canadian Red Cross Society, quietly serving others with the same compassion and generosity she showed her own family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Nerses, who stood by her with constant care and devotion, and by her cherished grandchildren: Aren, Varak, Nerses, Julian, Christian, Emma, Dikran, and Anais, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Despite a difficult childhood, she remained a profoundly grateful person. She had a rare ability to see the good in life, even during the most trying times, and faced challenges with quiet strength and grace. She treasured time spent with her loved ones and found her greatest happiness in family.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
